Number Intelligence: Number Validation, Spam Detection, and Unknown Caller

At IDX Automator Pro, powered by Level Play Digital, we strive to help businesses protect their brand reputation and maximize successful communication outcomes. One key way we do this is through Number Intelligence, a feature that helps identify and filter out risky numbers, spam calls, and unvalidated contacts before your business engages.

What is Number Intelligence

Number Intelligence is a built-in feature within IDX Automator Pro that enhances the quality and integrity of your contact list by:

  • Validating phone numbers before messages or calls are sent.

  • Detecting known spam numbers and protecting your system from interacting with them.

  • Flagging unknown or suspicious callers that could compromise your deliverability or engagement rates.

Key Benefits

  • Improve Deliverability: Ensure you're contacting real, valid numbers.

  • Protect Your Business Reputation: Avoid engaging with spam traps or known spam reporters.

  • Optimize Campaign Performance: Focus your outreach on high-quality leads that increase conversion potential.

How It Works in IDX Automator Pro

When a phone number is added to your CRM or targeted in a campaign, IDX Automator Pro automatically checks it against several intelligence layers:

  1. Number Validation

    • Confirms whether the phone number is properly formatted and active.

    • Reduces bounce rates and carrier filtering issues by identifying invalid or landline-only numbers.

  2. Spam Detection

    • Utilizes up-to-date databases of reported spam numbers.

    • Flags and warns you if a number has a history of spam behavior or is known to report messages as spam.

  3. Unknown Callers

    • Detects callers with no identifiable metadata or caller ID.

    • Helps you assess risk before engaging with unknown entities.

What Happens When a Number is Flagged?

In IDX Automator Pro, flagged numbers are:

  • Clearly marked in your contact view.

  • Automatically excluded from campaigns unless you manually override.

  • Available for review under Number Intelligence Reports for audit and cleanup purposes.

Use Cases for Number Intelligence

  • SMS Campaign Optimization
Identify and exclude numbers likely to result in delivery issues or spam reports.

  • Inbound Call Screening
Instantly know whether a call is coming from a valid, trusted source.

  • Lead Source Quality Check
Use validation data to determine which lead sources produce high-quality contact data.

Best Practices

  • Regularly review flagged contacts and consider removing or updating them.

  • Use validation results as part of your lead scoring model.

  • Educate your sales and marketing teams on what flagged statuses mean and how to handle them.

Privacy & Compliance

Level Play Digital ensures that all number intelligence data is handled in compliance with industry standards and privacy regulations. This service is part of our commitment to ethical outreach and customer trust.
