Step Zero: Set Up Your Branded Sending Domain


Before you set up email in IDX Automator Pro, it's essential to configure your branded sending domain. This ensures your emails are trusted, don’t end up in spam, and look professional.


✨ What is a Branded Domain?

A branded domain is a custom subdomain of your main website (like mail.yourrealtysite.com) used for sending and tracking emails. It replaces generic sending domains (like sendgrid.net) with one that matches your brand identity.

How to Set Up Your Branded Domain

  1. Go to Business Profile

    Navigate to Settings > Business Profile in your IDX Automator Pro dashboard.

  2. Enter Your Subdomain

    Example subdomains:

    • mail.yourdomain.com
    • emails.yourdomain.com
    • crm.yourdomain.com
  3. Copy Your DNS Records

    IDX Automator Pro will generate SPF, DKIM, and CNAME records.

  4. Update Your DNS Settings

    Go to your domain registrar (e.g., Cloudflare, GoDaddy) and add these records.

  5. Verify

    After DNS propagation (typically 15 mins to a few hours), click Verify DNS inside IDX Automator Pro.

Step-by-Step: Email Setup in IDX Automator Pro

Step 1: Navigate to Email Services

  1. Log into your IDX Automator Pro account.
  2. Click on Settings ⚙️ in the lower-left corner.
  3. Under Business Settings, select Email Services.

Step 2: Use the LC Email System (Recommended)

The LC Email System is the native email service integrated within IDX Automator Pro. It offers high deliverability, easy setup, and is directly tied to your branded sending domain.

  • ✅ No SMTP or third-party tools required
  • ✅ Fully managed and optimized for deliverability
  • ✅ Tied directly to your branded domain
  • ✅ Monitors sending reputation and warms up your domain automatically
  • ✅ Simplifies setup and ensures inbox placement


How to Activate LC Email

  1. In Settings > Email Services, you'll see LC Email System already listed.
  2. If your branded domain has been verified, you’re ready to go.
  3. If your domain isn’t verified yet, follow the prompts to complete your DNS setup first.
  4. Once verified, LC Email will be activated, and your account will enter a domain warmup phase to establish reputation.

Note: Warming up means LC Email will gradually increase the volume of sent emails to improve long-term deliverability.


Step 3: Send a Test Email

  • After LC Email is active, go to Email Services
  • Click Test Email
  • Enter your email address and send a test message
  • If it lands in your inbox, your setup is successful

Step 4: Confirm LC Email as Default

  • Your LC Email system will be automatically used as the default sending method for all campaigns, workflows, and replies.
  • No additional steps needed unless multiple domains are configured.

✍️ Step 5: Create Your Branded Email Signature

  1. Go to Settings > My Profile

  2. Scroll to the Email Signature field

  3. Create your custom signature, such as:

    Jane Smith
    REALTOR® | Level Play Digital
    ? (555) 123-4567
    ? www.yourrealtysite.com
    ? jane@yourdomain.com
    
    
  4. Click Save


Step 6: Enable Email Tracking

  1. Go to Settings > Company > Email Settings
  2. Turn ON:
    • ✅ Email Open Tracking
    • ✅ Email Click Tracking
