Q: What’s the difference between a sending domain and a branded domain?
A:  In most cases, they are the same thing. The sending domain is the domain used to send your emails—for example, mail.michelleperry.platinumrealestate.com. A branded domain is simply a custom domain or subdomain that reflects your business identity. When you use a branded domain as your sending domain, it helps build trust and improves email deliverability.

Q: Why do I need a branded sending domain?
A:  Using a branded sending domain ensures your emails look professional, represent your brand, and land in your clients’ inboxes (not their spam folders). It also allows email providers like Gmail or Outlook to verify that you are a legitimate sender.

Q: Will Level Play Digital set up my branded domain for me?
A:  Yes! Level Play Digital handles all the technical setup. If your website is hosted under a broker’s domain, like michelleperry.platinumrealestate.com, we’ll create a branded subdomain like mail.michelleperry.platinumrealestate.com and configure the DNS records for you.

Q: Where do I enter the sending domain in IDX Automator Pro?
A:  After your branded subdomain is set up by Level Play Digital, you can go to Settings > Business Profile in IDX Automator Pro. There, you’ll see your sending domain pre-filled. You may also be prompted to verify the domain, but this is typically handled automatically by our team.

Q: Can I use my own domain instead of the broker’s domain?
A:  Yes. If you own a personal domain, like michelleperryhomes.com, we can set up a branded email domain like mail.michelleperryhomes.com for you. This gives you full control and flexibility over your personal brand.

Q: Do I need to configure DNS myself?
A:  No. Level Play Digital manages all DNS setup and email domain configuration on your behalf to ensure smooth onboarding and professional results.
